NSC talk say dem select the athletes wey go benefit from this money after dem do serious evaluation. Dem no come mention names, but them share am for both our local champions and those wey dey abroad. Na top-performing athletes get this level of support, no be small thing!
Bukola Olopade, wey be the director-general of NSC, talk say this grant na way to show say dem care about athlete welfare. He say, “When we take care of our athletes, dem go take care of the country by winning medals.” Na so e be!
The grants go help to cover training and preparation expenses for the big show ahead. As dem prepare for the Commonwealth Games wey dey happen from July 23 to August 2, 2026, na so dem dey sharp sharp to make us proud.
