Asaba Camp Don Open to Fine-Tune Naija Athletes for Commonwealth Games

Chai! Naija athletes don gather for Asaba sharp-sharp as Athletics Federation of Nigeria open new training camp. Dis camp na for six weeks, and dem go start to prepare for Commonwealth Games wey go happen for Glasgow. Na 32 athletes go dey there, both boys and girls, 16 of each. Dem go fit fine-tune their skills for sprints, relays, jumps, and throws. Na big move!

Starting from Saturday, dem go start to waka enter camp. Dem go dey sharpen fitness, dey improve their technique, and also work on team spirit. You sabi say teamwork dey important when you wan komot for international competition, right? E go get six people wey go dey oversee the training, led by the head coach, Solomon Aliyu. Na serious matter o!

Technical director, Gabriel Okon, no go slack as e go dey monitor how athletes dey perform inside the camp. Na him go ensure sey everything dey go according to the federation standard. Among the athletes wey gree show face for camp, we get familiar names like Enoch Adegoke wey dey abroad dey prepare for Sparkassen Indoor Meeting for Germany. Chidera Ezeakor too dey Iowa University roster, shey you see say dem get serious athletes?

Also for the camp, hurdlers like Jenet Sunday and Musa Wisdom Great go dey there, and for the field experts, we get Victoria Kparika wey dey throw javelin and Dickson Ugochukwu for shot put. This camp no be small thing o! Na different coaches go dey handle their specialties, like George Obiano for horizontal jumps and Kola Adebayo for vertical jumps. Endurance Teye go tackle sprints, while Ken Onuaguluchi dey take care of throws.

As this camp dey happen for Asaba, na so Naija dey prepare serious as dem dey eyed glory for the Commonwealth Games.
