Director General of NSC, Hon. Bukola Olopade, na him yarn this one as e show say dem don secure location wey go help our athletes fit train well and sabi perform. E also talk say this one go help dem manage fatigue wey fit come from travel and make sure say no wahala for logistics.
According to Hon. Olopade, dem don learn from past experience wey show say last-minute movement fit scatter everything. Na why dem decide to put camp for the host country before time make the athletes fit settle down well, train for wetin dem go meet for competition.
“We dey prioritize structure and coordination dis time,” he talk. Team Nigeria go land for Aberdeen four weeks before the opening ceremony, so dem go fit acclimatize, bond as team, and fine-tune their skills.
“Our target na to remove any kind stress wey fit disturb the athletes and the technical crew. We dey plan early and follow standard so that when the time reach, dem fit perform at the peak,” he continue. This na big move to make sure say Nigeria shine for the Games!
The Commonwealth Games go run from July 23 to August 2, and e go feature about ten sports. So, my people, make we dey look forward to how these athletes go carry our flag go high.
