Last week Thursday, TCM voice their mind after dem hear say Senate don pass Electoral Act wey no include mandatory electronic transmission of results. Dem talk say e be like say dem wan spoil everywhere, as e go make voters no fit trust the elections again.
Stephen Oti Paul Obinna wey be TCM National Leader yarn say, “How we go claim say we be Giant of Africa when other countries dey use beta technology while we still dey drag with old methods?” He dey vex say we dey waste plenty money for elections, but we no fit follow technology wey everybody dey use for better governance.
Dem people for TCM dey serious about this matter. Dem believe say if we fit transmit results electronically in real-time, e go help reduce wahala wey dey happen after elections, like thuggery and ballot box snatching. E get reason why INEC don promote IReV as transparency method, but Senate gree say make dem no use am. Na wetin dem dey think, abeg?
