Omo, political wahala don show again! African Alliance Party (AAP) don threaten say dem go carry matter go court if INEC no register dem as political party. Dem dey vex say INEC dey do jara jara for registration matter, even after dem don meet all the requirements wey dem suppose fit.
AAP no dey waka alone o, plenty political associations dey hustle to enter the game as we dey prepare for the 2027 general elections. As dem dey run battles for who go fit control our politics, INEC come drop registration for two new parties last Thursday, and dem talk say e be like say dem check am well-well.
INEC chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan, come shout for Abuja say among 171 parties wey apply, only Democratic Leadership Alliance (DLA) fit for the criteria. Na so NDC too jump enter the list, because dem follow court order. But my people, AAP no go gree make dis matter rest!
For press statement wey dey carry title “Register AAP Now or Face Legal Action,” AAP come accuse INEC say dem dey use double standard for this registration wahala. Dem don follow all the laws, but dem no dey see dem name anywhere for the {final list}.
Omo, Abubakar Sadiq wey be AAP National Publicity Secretary, come dey shout say dem go push INEC to do wetin dem suppose do or face them for court. E talk say this wahala fit spoil INEC reputation, because dem don register NDC wey no even join registration process. E no sweet at all!
Sadiq take am easy, he talk say, “We still dey trust Judiciary, na hin go fit save us from this kind matter. You no fit build house on top empty ground o!” Dem dey plan to challenge INEC for court, because dem no wan make anybody play with them.
As the numbers of registered parties don reach 20, AAP no dey carry last. Dem still dey push dem members to dey mobilize for grassroots. This election e go hot, my people!
