Wahala dey for Kwara State as fire don raze five offices for Commissioner Log Way, GRA area of Ilorin. This gbege happen on Tuesday night, around 8:31 pm. But na the Kwara State Fire Service wey come save the day before e go worse.
According to the fire service spokesperson, Hassan Hakeem Adekunle, dem arrive the place sharp sharp and control the fire by 8:47 pm. Na im make dem fit save other parts of the building from disaster. E no good at all when fire dey burn, but at least we thank God say no lives loss.
As investigation don show, na electrical fault cause the fire. The sparks from the control board don ignite some nearby materials wey dey catch fire. Na wetin cause the entire gbege wey happen for there.
After the koko don settle, Alabi Muhammed, the Director of Kwara State Fire Service, don dey urge residents to take fire safety matter seriously. Him talk say make everybody install fixed fire protection systems like automatic sprinklers and fire suppression devices. Na these gadgets go help prevent major damage when fire waka enter any building.
He no lie o! Automatic firefighting systems go fit do major work to control fire, even if no person dey around. This one go really reduce how fire dey affect people and properties. Na wetin we dey always talk, prevention better pass cure!
