No be small matter, my people! APC for Zamfara State don come out clear like water, say dem no endorse Alhaji Muktar Idris as their governorship candidate for 2027. Dem talk say all di gossip wey dey fly for town, say Idris don collect di party flag, na just wahala wey no get head or tail.
This whole gist start when some people begin talk say Idris, wey dey contest before under APC in 2019, don get serious backing from some ‘stakeholders’ wey gather chop rice together. Na after dat gist scatter everywhere for social media, some APC members begin dey vex, say wetin dey happen?
To set di record straight, APC Zamfara Publicity Secretary, Mallam Yusuf Idris, don come out shout say all di talk na pure fiction. He yarn say, “No be wetin anybody hear wey get as e be. Di leadership of APC no sabi anything about candidate for 2027.” Wetin be dis if no be real wahala?
Yusuf Idris urge all di party members to calm down and no let any gossip disturb dem as dem sabi say di party structure strong like rock. When e come to aspirants, some people dey already yan who dem want carry go di race. One of dem, Ibrahim Abdullahi, dey support Muktar Idris, say him performance in di last election show say e fit run again. “He win majority votes before dem nullify di result due to wahala for primaries,” Abdullahi talk.
But no be everybody dey agree like that oh! Another APC guy, Salisu Yahaya, don come out dey shout say make dem bring back Matawalle wey don comot for power. According to am, “Matawalle still get second term wey he need to complete,” talk say he fit do am well if dem give am chance again.
Even Alhaji Sani Shehu no dey agree to put Idris back again. E dey root for di lawmaker Abdulmalik Zubairu, say di guy dey popular and fit help dem win di election. Wetin be this own, na jungle for party as everybody dey try push their own candidate.
As di party sabi, nobody go stand as candidate until dem do proper primaries wey show say na who suppose carry di baton. Yusuf Idris don hammer am clear say no be by talk from supposed stakeholders meeting, na di primaries go decide who go run.
