Na so dem dey call Segun Oloyede and Taiwo Oyebamiji, wey dem shoot for Iragbiji, for February 17, 2025. Gbas gbos dey happen as APC and PDP members dey fight for local government control. E no sweet at all!
Segun papa, Israel Oloyede, don yan say dem don dey wait for justice like say na bus wey no dey come. E no easy at all – dem don file plenty petitions for police but nothing don happen until recently when dem nab five suspects. According to Israel, na during political rally matter this whole wahala burst, and dem no even fit save him son before e go hospital. Na 15 people dem shoot that day, and two of dem join Segun for the great beyond.
Israel dey vex, industry dey vex, as e dey shout say prime suspect wey shoot Segun still dey waka free. E don dey threaten the family say make dem no talk, but Israel no gree. “My pikin na only child I get. Life don change since e go. We dey beg police make dem quick prosecute the ones wey dem don catch and find the main bad guy,” he talk.
For Taiwo case, e no better too. His relative, Mrs Adijat Popoola, dey talk say the killing don scatter dem family, even as dem dey plead for justice. E be like say all dis killings go don fi finish if law go fit catch the real bad guys wey dey use gun like say na popcorn dem dey fire. This no be wetin we sign up for!
The police spokesperson, Ade Ogunyemi, confirm say five suspects dey custody for dis matter, but e no fit talk too much. E just yan, “Five people dey for custody regarding the case.” But my people, why so many blood don dey spill? Na so e be for Nigeria!
E don reach time make dem politicians and security agencies step up, make dem no let this kind wahala waka free again. Osun State no fit continue to dey experience this kind gbege, make we dey pray for the families wey dey suffer. This no be just about politics, na human life we dey yan about. We dey need justice, not just for Segun and Taiwo, but for everyone wey don fall victim for this kind palava.
