Last Monday, for Sheraton Hotel, e gather plenty big men and women wey sabi health matter, dem dey discuss how to take carry better health services come grassroots level. This event wey dem call ‘Strengthening Primary Health Care System: A Joint Leadership Dialogue’ no be small thing o! Na serious matter, cos dem wan carry everybody along.

Odunmbaku talk say e don spend plenty money to fix and upgrade their primary healthcare centers. He don fit make over 600 surgeries happen, plus dem don digitalize medical records wey go make everywhere smooth like butter. Him don also provide modern medical equipment wey fit make life easier for doctors and patients alike.

’We dey committed to work with state government and any partner wey wan help us to provide quality and accessible healthcare for our people,’ na wetin him talk, and e no dey joke. Na serious matter he dey yarn.

As e no fit solo, the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi come join the gist too. Him talk say government don carry serious matter for head to fix the gaps wey dey for Primary Health Care, wey dey include financing, technology, data systems, and how to train people wey go work for health sector. E no easy o!

Other important people wey dey there include Dr. Kemi Ogunyemi wey na Special Adviser to the Governor on Health, and Dr. Veronica Iwayemi wey dey work for Lagos State Primary Health Care Board as Director of Medical Services and Disease Control. All of dem dey vibe together to see how dem fit make life for oyinbo and local people better for Ojodu.
