Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, dey read the letter wey these senators write to announce their defection. Senator Manu tok say him decide to move because of wetin him see as political realities wey fit benefit him people. E talk say, ‘I don do my homework, and I see say my conscience go better if I dey work for APC.’
Dem sef no let Lau waste time as e come follow suit, talking say e dey worried about wetin dey happen inside PDP, as e no gree align with wetin dem dey do again. E simply tell dem say, ‘APC dey match my values and vision, abeg make I join.’ Normal street no dey lie, if you no dey feel your party, e better make you find another ground.
As dem read di letters, APC senators dem carry jam applause, dem dey celebrate as their numbers don increase. Akpabio fit no hide im joy as e double as Senate boss and APC cheerleader, mocking PDP as e allow his colleagues corner am, saying make Senator Abba Moro, di Minority Leader, come talk wetin e get to say.
