For one big gist wey dem share, di Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, yarn about wetin dey happen for our security matter. E talk say dis na time wey terrorists, bandits, and cybercriminals dey use our own governance gaps against us. Na dem dey break our confidence and wahala for society.
Dem don sabi say di fight don change from wetin we use to know. Instead of face-to-face war, now na non-state actors dey run di show. E mean say dem no dey come fight like soldiers, dem dey hide behind civilians and anytime wey dem show, na to create confusion e be.
Lieutenant General Shaibu don talk say dem go use intelligence, collaboration, and all di technology wey dey available to follow dis bad guys. E no go be small wahala, but dem get plan wey dey flow from North-East to North-West, to maintain everywhere go dey safe. In di North-East, di main focus na to protect civilians and finish di terrorists. For North-West, dem don dey break bandit networks and disrupt dem operations.
Di strategy no go just stop for di military side alone, but dem go work with other agencies, and even international bodies too. Na so dem go fit tackle di smart way wey di threats dey evolve.
Lieutenant General Shaibu also highlight say technology dey play big role for dis new fight. Drones, cameras, and all di latest gadgets dey dey help dem move fast. He remind everybody say security no be just about dey fight for land, but e also dey involve economic security, cyber resilience, and even environmental wahala.
For as long as dis bad boys dey exist, di army don promise say dem go do everything to protect naija people, our property, and critical infrastructure. Na dem wey dey make life difficult for our country, but we go show dem say Naija no near carry last!
