Petroleum product marketers don gather themselves, dey yarn say the only way to save we Nigerians from this wahala be say make government start to sell crude oil to local refineries like Dangote refinery at subsidised rates. Na serious request, true talk!
The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) don appeal to President Bola Tinubu make e consider this subsidy. Dem believe say if dis one happen, e go help balance things for petrol price matter. Chinedu Ukadike, wey be IPMAN spokesman, don clear am for us say na subsidised crude supply go fit absorb wahala when crude oil price dey rise.
We don see say crude oil price don pass $70 per barrel globally, and dem dey fear say petrol fit go reach as high as N1,000 per litre, especially for areas wey far from refinery and tank farms. Chinedu don talk say this subsidy go surely help stabilize fuel price.

For Lagos, petrol prices don show face from N830 to N859 per litre. Na wah o! Even Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) don dey sell for N849 per litre. But with this price arrangement, e go make sense make government consider subsidy for crude oil to help ease these stress for we citizens.
