“Wetin we dey see be say sachet alcohol fit help person moderate wetin dem dey drink, instead of dem to carry big bottle and finish am,” Adebosin talk. “We dey always talk say make we drink responsibly, and sachet fit help with dat,” e add.
No be only dat, e come dey worry for local manufacturers wey they invest their money to produce dis alcohol. According to am, if dem just come ban di thing like that, many people go lose dem job and the economy go shake. E dey even warn say this kind action fit make foreign investors dey shine eyes well well when dem see how dem dey handle local businesses.
NAFDAC Director-General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, talk say di aim behind di ban na to protect young people and vulnerable ones from di wahala wey alcohol dey bring. E claim say alcohol dey lead to many health issues, domestic violence, and even accidents for road.
