Train don dey roll again for Ujevwu-ITAKPE!

Omo Naija, e get good news wey don land! Train service wey link Ujevwu to Itakpe don comot for ground after dem don suspend am for small time. Na wah o! This one na correct move from Nigeria Railway Corporation, NRC, as dem don announce say train go start to dey carry passengers from Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

As dem talk for di statement wey dem drop, dem say train go waka come out from Ujevwu Station by 8:00 am, straight to Itakpe Station. E no end there o, because on Thursday, January 29, 2026, di train go return from Itakpe back to Ujevwu by 12:00 pm. From there, e go dey continue, make everybody hustle and bustle no hold any body again!

NRC don say ‘sorry’ to passengers wey don dey wait since, and dem still dey express gratitude for di patience wey people show. Na so e be, sometimes things go dey move slow due to maintenance and logistics wahala. But abeg, no be say dem dey slack; na to make sure we dey safe for di tracks.

Di Ujevwu–Itakpe rail corridor no be just ordinary line, my people! E dey link Delta State to Kogi State, and e dey make journey sweet sweet for those wey want move goods and go visit family. From 2020 when dem launch di Warri–Itakpe line, na so dem dey manage to dey boost trade and transportation for di South-South and North-Central regions.

Before dis announcement, e don be like say di train community dey vex, because as dem suspend di operations, passengers and traders no fit move freely again. But as wetin don be, NRC don finally respond to di calls wey dey come left, right, and center for dem to start di trains again. Dis announcement no just dey bring back di trains, but e dey ginger hope for movement of people and goods wey don suffer for this matter.

So as we dey look forward to January 28, make sure say you don book your e-ticket before midnight today wey dem say e go open. Make you no miss your chance to waka with di train again.
