Felix Morka, the APC national publicity secretary, talk say e be like say dem governors dey waka enter APC by their own decision, no dragging, no wahala.
According to Morka, dem dey see something for Tinubu administration wey dem like. He talk say, ‘Nobody dey bait anybody. Dem leaders wey dey join us, na their own volition. E no be bait matter at all.’ E sure say these governors want to align with the progress wey dem dey see for Tinubu movement.
If you remember, Abba Yusuf no be stranger to APC. Na him be founding member of the party when e start for Kano before e waka go NNPP. E don return now and APC dey roll out the red carpet for am. Even Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the former national chairman of APC, don call the return homecoming. He dey talk say Yusuf dey align well well with the party ideology.
But make we no forget the political tension wey dey for Kano. You sabi say former governor Kwankwaso still dey drag leg join this matter? He don still talk say if Yusuf wan join APC, he go need solid assurance. Kwankwaso no wan hasty move wey go scatter everything wey him don build. E don dey tell im people say, ‘You no fit just leave party without making sure say everybody dey ready.’
As e be now, APC dey shine eye for Kano State, because Yusuf don carry 73 elected officials, including house of assembly members, local government chairmen, come join am for APC. Na big win for them as them dey prepare for 2027 elections. Sabi say APC state secretary don talk say the doors of the party dey open for Yusuf and im people, and them don reserve number 001 registration card for am.
