My people, dis na serious matter wey don burst for Kano State! Mustapha Kwankwaso, the pikin of former governor, don resign from him job as Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development. E no dey play at all! Dem say na Monday wey him waka comot, him still express him thank you to Governor Abba Yusuf, abi na Abba Kabir, wey give am chance to serve.
In im own words, ‘I dey very heavy-hearted as I write dis resignation letter.’ Omo, wahala no dey finish for Kano! Mustapha talk say him appreciate de trust and opportunity wey dem give am. Him dey pray make dem no forget the youth and sports development for Kano, make e no land for ground like say dem no dey help.
But that no be all, because just the day before, another Commissioner, Yusuf Kofarmata wey dey handle Science, Technology, and Innovation, also don pack him bag. E even talk say na political palava wey dey happen for Kano be why e no fit stay. Man go dey consider integrity matter, e no wan dey called question because of all dis wahala wey dey happen.
Kofarmata dey talk say, ‘If I continue for this position, dem fit begin judge me anyhow.’ My brother, dis one get as e be o! Na wetin he mean be say, him no wan carry wahala for head wey no be im own! E wan be sure say e dey do wetin correct for dis matter.
Now, dis wahala follow Governor Abba Yusuf wey don jump back to APC after e waka comot from NNPP. E consider say all dis wahala for state go fit better if him return to APC. Na big matter o! E go register for APC yanma yanma next week, and e say he wan make development better for Kano.
People dey argue say dis defection fit scatter NNPP matter because na so dem dey squabble between Kwankwaso loyalists and those wey support Abba Yusuf. Dis don create clear divide. Abba, wey sabi as Kwankwaso padi, now dey face im own people. E dey ready for the next election, and dem don dey look am for the real game!
Looks like more Commissioners go soon follow Kofarmata and Mustapha for door exit. The government dey shake, and only time go tell who go remain and who go pack dem load join plane!
