This one na confirmation from him spokesperson, Sanusi Bature, wey talk say Governor Yusuf don resign from New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) just last Friday.

E carry 22 members of the State House of Assembly, 8 members of the House of Representatives, plus all the 44 local government chairmen alongside am. For him statement, e talk say the prevailing realities wey dey confront am and de state, plus the need for national unity and development, na wetin push am to return to APC. E describe APC as familiar ground wey go help am do beta governance for Kano.
