According to eyewitness wey dey there when the gbege burst, na so dem gunmen come storm the area. Dem no fit take time, dem fire shots for the woman motor fuel tank and tyres so that the car go stop. As the car stop, dem carry the woman waka with dem, leaving everybody for the scene dey shout, dey panic.
Dem say some of the neighbors wey try raise alarm no escape am. Na dem gunmen come shoot three people – one man, one woman, and her pikin. All of dem rush go hospital sharp-sharp for medical help as dem receive serious injury.
The protest no fit cool down as hundreds of residents burst the road, dey carry placards wey get inscriptions like “We say no to banditry,” “Mr Governor, save our souls.” One of the protest leaders, Reverend Johnson Adajah, come talk say dem dey appeal to the governor and security agencies to help dem. “We no wan live for fear for this community again,
