Dem dey give Hajj Commission N5.99 billion and Christian Pilgrim Commission N5.57 billion. This na serious wahala! For wetin, when some states dey suffer wey no fit even pay workers correct salary?
Omo, between 2022 and 2024, federal and 21 state governments don spend N120 billion for this pilgrimage wahala. Na serious joker dem be! Everybody dey vex as dem approve N90 billion subsidy for Hajj in 2024, while fuel subsidy just enter the dust bin.
Na wetin? Nigeria dey rank fifth in this pilgrimage money matter, trailing Indonesia, Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh. Omo, for past 10 years, we don waste N2 trillion bias for pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia, Israel, Rome, and plenty other places. Wetin we gain? Na only wahala and sins full ground!
Religious tourism dey make Saudi Arabia plenty money, like $12 billion annually. Dem dey use our money to doh their economy, while we dey sit down dey pray for wetin dem don achieve without our help. Na bad market!
As Nigeria suppose be secular state, how person go fit justify wasting our hard-earned money on religious affairs? Dis government dey go against Section 10 of our Nigerian Constitution that say no state suppose choose any religion as state religion.

Steve Oronsaye committee for 2012 don advise make dem stop am, but dem no implement am. Make dem look Lagos State wey stop am under ex-Governor Ambode, and they save plenty money!
States wey dey spend money for pilgrimage, fit no get funds to pay minimum wage. Wetin be all dis wahala? Delta State just launch N1 billion loan fund wey go support small businesses instead of wasting money on pilgrimage. Na so dem suppose dey reason am.
The money wey dem dey use for pilgrims fit build schools, hospitals, provide work for people, and even pay salaries. Na time wey Nigeria go get sense and stop dey fill another country pocket for the name of pilgrimage funding.
