We hear say na Prince Anofiu Elegushi, wey be NAHCON Commissioner for Operations, run dem down with wetin Nigeria dey carry for the 2026 Hajj matter. E talk say dem don ready well-well, from airline connections to where pilgrims go sleep for Makkah and Madinah. Dem wan make sure say all paperwork dey complete before any gia can waka, atleast 72 hours before dem go even think of boarding flight.
Baba Elegushi still drop am say some wahala dey wey dem dey face; like say dem reduce Hajj slots, no enough place for accommodation, and some issues for airline wahala. He still talk say dem dey reason how they go tackle some visa wahala wey dey make life hard for tour operators. Na so dem beg Saudi to increase the Hajj slots for Nigeria, make we fit carry our people go.
Saudi officials no gree joke with the timeline. Dem don talk say once you chop pass the timeline, you go dey miss out on the matter. The Rector of Hajj Institute of Nigeria, Prof. Maitulare, don add his voice too. E talk say the institute need recognition from Saudi side make dem fit train more Hajj managers and turn the place to hub for all Hajj and Umrah policies discussion. E be like say both sides dey ready to work together to make everything smooth.
