My people, wetin dey happen for Kano State be say, the Chairwoman of Tudun Wada Local Government Council, Mrs. Sa’adatu Salisu Soja, don pack her bags comot from the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP). This one no be small matter oh!
As e be, she drop the gist for letter wey she write on January 23, 2026, wey she send straight to the NNPP top officers for her area. For that letter, she talk say she wan follow the political waka of her oga, Abba Kabir Yusuf, wey be the Governor of Kano State. Na so the matter take start!
Soja, wey be the only woman wey get elected position as local government chairman for the whole Kano State, come clear am say her decision no be accident; she say na strategy to support the development of Kano State better. She thank the party members and leadership for the love and support wey dem show her while she dey for the party.
But na wetin make her dey come out we go talk about now. She drop the bomb say Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf also don resign from NNPP too, and him no dey carry only himself oh! Twenty-one members of State Assembly, eight members for House of Representatives, and all the 44 local government chairmen come join am; wahala don gas for NNPP!
As this kind things dey happen, e go seem say the NNPP go dey lose ground for Kano State as dem dey look for how to follow their leader’s political direction. Wetin I go call am be ‘political re-alignment’, like when you dey move your body fit for dance floor, you no fit remain for one position if everybody dey follow different beats.
Even di State Commissioner for Environment and Climate Change, Dr. Dahiru Muhammad Hashim, no wan carry last; him too don drop use di same letter to pack his things from NNPP since January 23. E be like say everybody dey find their level as dem no wan miss road!
So my people, if you dey think say political parties for Naija dey stable, na serious misunderstanding you dey get. Party wey suppose solid, e don dey shake and we go dey watch how this whole drama go unfold; make we see wetin go happen next!
