On December 31, wey be the day wey e turn 55, the governor organize humanitarian outreach through im foundation, wey dem call Uba Sani Foundation. Dem don waka go seven orphanage homes and eight major hospitals to carry food and cash help for dem wey need am.
Executive Director of the foundation, Mallam Ibrahim Dan-Halilu, talk say dem distribute food items wey worth plenty millions of naira. E include big bags of rice, spaghetti, cooking oil, seasoning cubes, soap, pomade, sanitary pads, and blankets wey go help the pikin dem stay warm from the harmattan wahala.
Some of the orphanages wey benefit from this kind gesture na Umm Aytam Orphanage and Women Home for Unguwan Dosa, Al-Ihsan Orphanage for Nassarawa, Adonai Children and Widows Home for Kakuri, and Naphtali Orphanage wey dey Gonin Gora, just to mention small.
Dem no stop for orphanages oh, dem also carry the good news go hospitals like Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital, Yusuf Dantsoho General Hospital for Tudun Wada, Gwamna Awan General Hospital for Makera-Kakuri, General Hospital Kawo, and Hajiya Gambo Sawaba General Hospital for Zaria.
Mallam Dan-Halilu still drop cash for over 200 patients for those hospitals to help dem fit buy their medicines and pay for lab tests. Na better plan be this oh, to make sure say everybody fit enjoy the new year with hope.
Aim of this outreach be to remember the less privileged and make dem feel say dem get support as the new year dey waka come. Na wetin make the governor dey call on rich Nigerians to join hand and help people wey need am.
The beneficiaries dey show gratitude and dey praise the governor, pray for im long life and good health. Na benefit wey don dey happen since 2018 for the foundation, wey dey focus on health, education and empowering people for the community.
Since dem start this foundation, dem don don provide scholarships for over 2,000 students wey dey come from poor background, train more than 5,000 women and youths for vocational skills, and provide medical support wey don reach over 10,000 persons.
