Eyewitness wey dey share story talk say the bandits, wey many people believe say na Lakurawa network, no send anybody message. Dem just storm the community, dey fire for everywhere, and people no get choice than to run scatter, sharp sharp!
This na serious matter as communities for Tangaza, Binji, Gudu, and Illela LGAs don dey face dis kind wahala for years. The local people still dey talk say, e be like say dis renewed violence fit dey linked to the communities wey no wan follow the bandits instructions. Na so e be, my people.
One village person talk am clear say dis no be the first time wey dem go attack their village. E even recall say the Village Head for Sanyinna don die before for one of dis kind attacks wey don happen. Now, dem dey cry for urgent security reinforcement as security waka dey hard to see for their side.
After the wahala for Baidi, Kogi State join the party as two members of one family don waka go meet bandits for Ihale-Bunu, Kabba/Bunu LGA. Na 100-year-old Chief Samuel Fagbemi and im 50-year-old son, Chief Zacheus Sunday Fagbemi, misery don follow dem as dem don carry dem go unknown place.
According to eye witness, na Wednesday around 4:00 p.m. wey dem dey come on more than 20 motorcycles load with armed men wey no dey play. Residents no fit do anything, as dem dey overwhelmed by the bandits. Police still dey do their own investigation, but people wey dey inside the community don dey cry say security no dey enough to save dem.
E funny how this attack come after the state government just bring two new security surveillance drones to help them with wahala. But wetin we go do? Na so e go be!
Meanwhile, our military people no dey rest. Troops wey dey call Operation FANSAN YAMMA don dey do enough work to face the bandits. Between January 21 and 22, dem don record small wins against the terrorist groups. Dem even manage neutralise one fighter and recover six AK-47 rifles as dem go do patrol for Gundumi Village, Isa LGA.
