Head of Culture for African Union, Angela Martins, don show appreciation for wetin Lagos and sponsors do. E talk say, ‘AFRIMA dey show off Africa music sense and culture to the world.’ She say dis event dey strengthen African unity and connection, as music na the way wey we dey tell our own stories.

AFRIMA president, Mike Dada, no forget to give shout-out to Sanwo-Olu-led government and sponsors. According to am, ‘we dey thank una for believing in AFRIMA vision. Na wetin we do together show how strong African music fit be for unity and economic growth.’ E say Lagos show am say dem fit host international events like dis with open arms.

The event come start with Welcome Soiree wey happen for the house of Deputy British High Commissioner. Then dem follow am up with Africa Music Business Summit for Eko Convention Centre wey gather music professionals wey sabi the future of African music. Na dem dey plan the next big moves for music industry.

AFRIMA Music Village self no dey slack as over 25 top artists come perform for more than 30,000 music fans for Ikeja City Mall. E be like say party no go end! As for the grand finale, e happen for Eko Convention Centre where dem hand over 23.9-carat gold-plated AFRIMA trophy to top artistes and creative professionals. Na real star time be dat!
