My people, make I yarn una beta gist wey dey hot! Naija celebrity chef Hilda Baci don collect another Guinness World Record (GWR) title make e three wey she get now. E be like say anytime wey Hilda enter kitchen, na so records dey fall for ground!
Just four months after she set the record for the largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice, dis babe don use her magic again! For September 2025, she gather 200 portions of jollof rice wey she cook for nine hours at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island. Na so GWR confirm her record, wey everybody dey talk about. E no easy, oh!
On Tuesday, Hilda come post for her Instagram as she catch the email wey GWR send give am, signed by the Head of Client Partnering, Andrew Fanning. Dem tell am say she no only break jollof rice record; she also set record for the largest serving of rice! Hilda just dey shine like diamond!
In the email wey Mr. Fanning send, him talk say: “You be officially amazing (again)! We don check di records and we see say you and your squad break different record on di same day. Big congrats from us!” Na wah!
Hilda no go just sit down dey chill after dis achievement. She talk say, “E be like say God get many levels wey we no know. Dis record wey I break, e show say sometimes we dey think say na so e go be, but God go come show us say e still get more for us.” E don really dey go well for her as she enter 2026 with brand new GWR title!
She express her shock say when she dey waka, she just dey check her emails when she catch di latest gist. “I woke up a three-time Guinness World Records holder and I dey try digest am. Wetin I no go fit believe, na wetin I dey see now!” Hilda say. Na so she call Oreoluwa Atinmo, her partner for dis journey, because without her, everything no go fit happen.
With her special team wey work together, Hilda praise dem well, talk say di victory belong to everybody wey don support am. “I dey thank everyone wey believe in me. My heart dey full!” she yarn. You know say celebration dey ground, true Naija style!
This Baci babe no dey new for GWR stage. For June 2023, she don also collect record for di longest cooking marathon, wey she do over 100 pots of food in four days. Though she get small wahala for final time, she still clear di previous record set by Indian chef Lata Tondon.
But e no last as Irish chef Alan Fisher come carry di wahala enter ground by cooking for 119 hours and 57 minutes, pass Hilda own. E be like say dem dey follow am do challenge!
