Just yesterday, to be precise, Wednesday, na im the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC), come open dem mouth well as dem talk say dem go mobilize plenty supporters.
Segun Dipe, wey be the Publicity Secretary for Ekiti APC, don yan say dem no go play anyhow for dis campaign matter. Dem dey ready to run party wahala based on serious issues, no be small pickin matter. He talk say, “We go show our vision and agenda for Ekiti development.” Ehn, na so we go take know wetin dem plan for us.
As e be now, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) don put mouth for ground as dem launch the campaign period. Dem come talk say campaign go dey happen from January 21 wey don pass reach June 18 before election day. E be like say dem wan make sure say peace dey for the koko of this matter.
Dr. Bunmi Omoseyindemi, wey be INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner for Ekiti, come emphasize say peaceful campaign na di key to make sure say election no go turn to fight. She dey urge all di political parties make dem avoid wahala talk wey fit cause gbege. She no wan hear any hate speech or threats, na peaceful vibe we go need to keep di political game balanced.
As dem dey launch campaign, Dipe no hold back as e show confidence say Oyebanji go carry di day again. Oyebanji, wey everybody sabi call BAO, dey waka with mouth wey dey smell good from his four years wey him don serve. Dipe talk say, “BAO na di most qualified among all di candidates.” E be like dey dey rate Guru for transparency and community engagement wey dey happen for Ekiti, as him don stay on top budget transparency ranking for six terms! Na big signs be dat!
Dipe also talk say dem dey ready to move from one corner of Ekiti to another, make dem know say APC dey serious for dis election matter. E urge all di good people of Ekiti to prepare dem mind, make dem follow di APC campaign train as e dey waka pass dem side.
