She emphasize say nursing na serious work wey require respect and ethics.
She explain say, as dem dey use social media anyhow dey throway unverified gist, e dey affect the trust wey people get for nurses. You sabi as e be now, people don dey carry bad stories wey no even get head or tail, and na so dem dey use am dey spoil the image of the profession.
“When we sabi use social media well, e go help us for education, health information, and even advocacy for better policies. But this wahala wey come from sensationalism and internal drama no go do anybody good at all,” na wetin she talk.
Deborah don warn say if dem no stop this trend, e fit lead to serious wahala like loss of trust from the public and even make people no wan work with nurses for international level. Na serious matter be that o! She call on all nursing leaders, educators, and union leaders to stand up, set clear rules, and make sure say nurses dey behave well online.
She vex reach the point wey she talk say silence na big problem. If dem no act now, e fit lead to irreparable damage for the profession wey don dey build over decades. Dem gatz channel their complaints through the right places, and uphold the core values wey make nursing noble, like confidentiality and professionalism.
As she conclude, she remind all nurses say the image of this profession no be personal matter; na collective work wey don dey grow for many years.
