The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) don land serious shout for the Director-General of Industrial Training Fund, Dr. Afiz Ogun, say make hin pack hin load comot! Why? Because students no dey collect their money wey dem suppose get for SIWES allowances, and e don dey trend like bad news for town.
As e be, NANS Assistant Secretary-General, Adejuwon Emmanuel, don enter voice mode to express wetin dey burst hin mind. E dey vex say this money wey suppose support students as dem dey acquire skills no come through, and na big wahala e dey cause. Thousands of students don suffer and dem don dey complain since, but the ITF people no show any sign of life or communication to explain wetin dey happen with the allowances.
NANS talk say this whole tin don become financial wahala for many students, and the credibility of SIWES wey suppose help dem no dey intact again. They don dey drag ITF leadership enter mud, talk say Dr. Afiz Ogun no fit provide any proper answer to the students’ questions. As e dey hot, dem talk say silence no be golden here, because the students dey feel say money fit dey mismanaged or even worse, diverted.
Sebi NANS don issue ultimatum wey dey hot like pepper! Dem give Federal Government just 14 days to act before dem go take action wey fit cause noise everywhere, and dem don involve EFCC to investigate wetin dey happen for ITF. Na serious matter o! How una go fit allow students wey dey hustle for education suffer like this?
Dem even call President Bola Tinubu to take action sharply to make sure say all una allowances dey paid without delay. SIWES no be privilege, e be right wey every student get. If anyone dey fail to fulfill this obligation, then I no know wetin dem dey really do for that office again.
