This guy no be small paddy o, as e don dey preside over the event wey dey honour those who pay the ultimate price for our peace and unity.
Buni talk say, ‘The heroes wey we dey celebrate today don put their lives on top the line to make sure say conflict no spoil our enjoyment for community and country.’ E no forget to remind us say Yobe sef don suffer during Boko Haram wahala, but thank God say we don dey see some light now.
E come talk say, ‘Na this same venue wey Boko Haram dey use to feel like say na their own place, but today, na our own wey dey shine!’ Kudos to our security forces, e talk say them dey really try to keep us safe, so we gats continue to support them. Security na everybody business, abeg!
Buni urge the people make dem dey pray for the fallen heroes, as well as for better security no just for Yobe but for the whole Northeast and our dear Naija. Na serious matter wey dey touch heart, and we gats join hand together as one family to support our military.
Meanwhile, Lt. Goji Birma, the chairman of the Nigeria Legion, dey happy as him commend the state government for the kind things wey dem dey do for ex-soldiers and their families. Him no forget to yarn the challenge wey dem dey face, funding, as dem dey depend on emblem sales and donations to run their programs. E even talk say dem get over 400 members wey dey do vocational training for veterans and their loved ones.
As the ceremony dey go on, dem do interfaith prayers and release white pigeons, wey be sign of peace and hope for we all. Nobody fit deny say this kind event dey important, as e dey remind us say we need to dey united and support our armed forces wey dey risk their lives for our safety.
