Noimot born for January 8, 1966, for Ota, Aworiland. She come from family wey no dey joke with education and integrity. She go University of Lagos go study civil engineering, later waka go Imperial College for London, where she carry come master degree for public health engineering. Na from dat time, she don dey set the standard for plenty people wey wan follow her footstep.
For almost thirty years, she dey represent for engineering consultancy, real estate development and all the other fine fine engineering wahala. E no just stop there; as she dey work with big organizations like Ove Arup & Partners for UK, she don also stand gidigba as the Managing Director for Glenwood Property Development Company. Na so she take dey build her name inside the built environment sector.
2019 na di year wey sabi dey change for Ogun State because she enter politics as Deputy Governor alongside Prince Dapo Abiodun. Na im make am di only female deputy governor for South-West at di time, and the first from Aworiland. Na wetin we fit call “small-small change wey fit turn big!”
For di office, dis woman dey shine like star, as her administration no dey play. She dey contribute plenty for Ogun State policies as member of the State Executive Council and dey involve for di Ogun State Boundary Committee too. No be lie, she dey push gender balance and women’s empowerment all di way!
Na for 2023, di former president, Muhammadu Buhari, see di good work wey she dey do, so he give her appointment for High-Level Advisory Committee on Women’s Economic Empowerment and Gender. E no just dey shine for Ogun alone, her influence don waka pass National level. Nobody fit talk of women’s leadership without mentioning Noimot!
But no be only politics matter she dey handle. Na true mentor she be! She dey show women how to rise and rule, she dey inspire young girls to carry dem destinies for di hand. E no easy for dis woman, even as she dey deal with all di cultural wahala wey dey come with politics, but she dey hold her own, with peace and grace.
Also, she dey mingle with di youths for Trust Teens Conference, dey make sure say dem sabi values and self-awareness. As wife and mother, she balances all dis responsibility well well, and she dey give praises to her husband, Alhaji Bode Oyedele, wey still dey support her. Na family support dey carry her paddy-paddy!
By December 2023, di Olota of Ota don crown am Beere of Ota Aworiland. Na real honor wey show say Ogun people dey appreciate wetin she do for dem. Now, as her sixtieth birthday don land, e no just be about di past, but how she dey shape di future of Ogun State. Di legacy wey Noimot dey build no get small time for service, inclusion and sustainability.
As Ogun State dey celebrate dis woman wey dey shine like diamond, e go remind everybody say true leadership dey about di impact wey we fit make for community.
