Hamzat drop this correct message on Tuesday as e dey represent Lagos for 15th Convocation of Fountain University. E come talk say many people dey feel say our fresh graduates dey fall short, especially when dem enter the labour market wey dey tough like rock! But no be like that o, him believe sey dem fit change am.

During him talk, wey the Lagos State Commissioner for Home Affairs, Layode Olanrewaju, take carry the gist spread, Hamzat come advise the graduands make dem no just sit down dey wait for miracle. E tell dem sey dem don receive skills wey dey very important for the journey wey go happen after school, so make dem use am well!

“As graduates, una get big role to play!” Hamzat yan conclusively. E add, “The world need active citizens, people wey go dey like architects wey dey build solution, no be just ordinary graduates wey dey wait for job like say na Lagos traffic.”

Hamzat no stop for there, he also beg dem to cultivate wisdom and compassion. E advise dem make dem dey rethink their ideas constantly and be ready for any challenges dem go face for life. Wahala no go finish o!

Then as dem dey talk wisdom matter, the convocation lecturer, Kazeem Adeduntan, come follow drop better lecture wey dem call ‘From Faith to Fortune: Building a Prosperous Ummah Through Leadership, Education, Innovation, and Economic Empowerment’. Dem dey shout as him dey call on Muslim scholars make dem shift from the usual way dem dey and turn to architects of economy too. Na wetin we dey need for this 21st century!

Adeduntan dey talk sey our scholars need to fit adapt and become champions for economic growth, no be just dem dey for mosque alone. Him talk sey the souls of the community dey need guidance for all aspects, even the ones wey get to do with digital transactions or transactions wey dey happen for boardrooms. If dem no shine light for those areas, na wah be that!

Before dem end, the Vice Chancellor of Fountain University, Ramota Karim, come showcase their achievements. She talk say dem don spend N2.7 billion on serious projects to make the school better. She no forget to break down the fresh graduates wey don waka come out: 426 undergraduates join hand with 81 postgraduate students as dem dey graduate today, na big deal o!
