My people, wahala don soft land for Odo-Kekere area as one classroom block for Odokekere High School just collapse like house of cards! E no fit happen at better time, but make we thank God say no casualty don show face. E be like say the school dey try upgrade as dem don already plan to demolish the building before this gobe happen.
Na Thursday evening, after school don close for the day, the classroom block wey dey for bungalow style just kukuma give way. You fit imagine the fear wey take grip the community as dem hear big kolo sound. But, according to the Special Committee on Rehabilitation of Public Schools (SCRPS), dem talk say students no dey that classroom when the thing happen so we fit breathe small. Na wetin dem dey call close shaves!
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, don quickly show concern. E don order make dem relocate all the students wey dey affected make dem no miss their classes. Na wetin we call smart move, abi? Meanwhile, SCRPS don arranjo to send their team go check the site and see wetin dey happen so that dem fit plan to build better classroom for all these sharp-sharp students wey dey increasing.
The statement wey SCRPS drop talk say dem don already mark the classroom block for demolition as part of plans to build new structure wey go fit accommodate all the growing students wey dey come for the school. Na serious matter o, this upgrade na the way forward. E good make all these students dey learn for better environment.
As the gist dey go, one resident wey name na Boluwaji Aderinto talk say she hear loud crack before she see dust everywhere. She come dey worry say wetin go happen if dem no check the condition of other school buildings for the area. Wetin I go talk be say, safety na priority oh! People dey always complain say government no dey focus on these things until wahala don happen.

Dem check as no teacher or security dey trapped inside the collapsed building. Na good initiative, but we still dey look for action wey go prevent this kind gobe from happening again.
