Wolimoh no gree hide im mind o! E yan for News Agency of Nigeria say dis governor don drop N125 million for military veterans matter in di last two years. E start with N50 million two years ago, then last year na N75 million, and this year, e don promise to bring N100 million! Chai, wetin be dis? If no be say naija no dey do am like am, I for say na serious investment for veterans wey dey fight for our country.
But that’s not all, my people! Sanwo-Olu don also give dem 500 bags of rice, each weigh 25kg, wey dem go share to members of di Legion. No be small commot! Dem go chop well well as dem dey prepare for di Nigerian Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day, wey go happen on January 15 every year. Na big day for di veterans!
Wolimoh also drop beta gist say President Bola Tinubu don change di game for di Remembrance Day. Instead of just remembering di fallen heroes, dem dey also celebrate di soldiers wey still dey serve! Na correct move, wey dey make everybody show appreciation for dia hard work.
“We dey take dis day to appreciate dem, as dem no dey just dey fight for us, dem dey sacrifice for our peace,” Wolimoh talk. Na true talk be dis! E even carry us back to di time wey dem dey shed tear for those wey no dey here again, wey we sabi as fallen heroes. No forget say dem dey chop edge for di families wey dem gree leave behind, especially di widows and children.
Wetin dey sweet na say this Remembrance Day dey help raise funds for di legion. You fit sabi say dem dey sell di emblems, and wey be say e dey open eyes for everybody to care for di families of di fallen heroes.
