My paddy people, wetin happen for Ojota Bridge this morning na something wey go make you wan run enter your house! Omo, container truck catch fire for there like say na campfire dem dey do. Na around 8:24 a.m. the fire start, but no wahala, because our emergency squad don rush go there sharp-sharp to handle am.
Na so Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) carry their wahala boots come say, ‘No be small thing o! Fire dey burn container but traffic no dey jam like we dey expect.’ Dem don deploy firefighters wey dey tackle the flames, plus dem gatz heavy duty tow truck wey dey help take remove the burned vehicle clear road for other motors wey dey run pass.
As e be now, dem don block the area where the fire dey, but dem still dey monitor the traffic to make sure say e no turn ‘go-slow’ for the whole area. LASTMA tx say make we dey alert and follow wetin dem dey talk to avoid wahala.
This na no be new story at all o! Just yesterday, one high-capacity bus wan carry fire for Third Mainland Bridge, e don scatter traffic as people dey struggle to move come Iyana Oworo side. Na so Lagos traffic dey be, any small wahala fit turn big wahala for road.
Na people wey dey use that Ojota route go dey suffer if dem no put hand for vehicle maintenance. E don dey happen severally say BRT buses self dey catch fire anyhow. Even though e dey pepper us, we still need to take better care for these motors so that passengers fit travel safe and no wahala go dey.
LASEMA and LASTMA dey work as one to handle accident dem well well, but we wey dey waka for road too get our own part to play. So, make we ginger ourselves dey follow road rules and ensure say safety na priority for everybody. No be only dem dey fire-fight, but we self go fit help control the situation by behaving well on top the road.
Stay tuned for more updates, as dem go dey bring gist as e dey hot from di scene. Remember say safety na everybody business. Na video wey dem dey shoot, and when dem finish, we go fit sabi wetin really cause dis fire. Make we dey follow our traffic updates dem now, sharp sharp; no be every fire go fit quench love for road o!
