For one big church service wey happen for Ado Ekiti, wey na the capital of Ekiti State, Deputy Governor, Monisade Afuye, represent am. Na this service dey mark the 2026 Nigerian Armed Forces Remembrance Day, and you know say this na time to hail our heroes wey don fight for our peace.
Oyebanji talk say we gatz appreciate the soldiers because dem don pay the ultimate price, and a lot of dem dey carry injury from the battle. “No be jollof rice wey dem taste,” na wetin the governor talk make we sabi. E emphasize say, “the peace wey we dey enjoy today no come easy. Na blood, sweat, and sacrifice dem don use carry am give us,”

E mention say Ekiti don turn to the most peaceful state for Naija, and e assure us say dem go dey provide the necessary support for security agencies make dem dey work better.
Pastor Segun Awolumate, wey dey chaplain for the same church, don use him sermon talk say security no be only government thing, but na all of us responsibility. Him talk say, “When we dey pray, gatz open our eyes dey look around sharp sharp, and dey gather intelligence wey fit help.”
Nabo, we see dignitaries wey come for the occasion, even Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Adeoye Aribasoye, and others wey get their head for the security matter. Na real gbedu wey happen for there, as dem dey share prayers and ginger for our army wey dey fight the bandits and those wey want scatter our peace.
