Chai, my people! E be like say Ekiti State don gather all dem big wigs to shine light for Ilawe Ekiti. Na so Oba Adebanji Alabi, wey be former Chairman of Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers, go dey praise Governor Biodun Oyebanji like say he don win lottery!
Oba Alabi talk am during New Year prayer wey Christian Association of Nigeria organize for their community. Na that time he give kudos to plenty indigenes wey dey do well for their town. E mention big names like Femi Falana, Senator Yemi Adaramodu, and many more, wey dey bring development to the place. Na so we sabi say progress no dey come by mouth alone oh!
But no be everybody dey shine for am, oh! The oba no forget to yan say one politician wey no do well for their community don fail seriously, say, “We no go gree allow anybody wey no get brain to carry our matter go House of Assembly again.” E clear say dem dey expect better representation!
This Oba no carry last for praise oh! E mention how Governor Oyebanji don help fix roads like Ilawe–Ikere Road, Ilawe–Erijiyan Road, and even give their General Hospital some fresh gear. E be like say road network na the new hustle for Ekiti!
Aside from the governor, Oba Alabi still point hand to Senator Adaramodu wey don build modern Oba Afuntade Market, give buses to Alawe-in-Council, plus bring job opportunities for the youth. Na him dey do the work wey dem political office holders suppose dey do!
And guess wetin? The monarch no forget to salute indigenes wey no dey do politics but still dey support their community. Those ones na the real MVPs wey dey carry their town for mind. E commend people dem like Falana and Ogunbiyi for their efforts!
At the end of this celebration, the oba don use this prayer time to ask God make e guide, protect, and bless all the indigenes of Ilawe Ekiti for this new year. E no easy, but with this kind leadership and support, we sabi say things go better!
