Electricity Don Restore for Jalingo, Na Real Relief!

Omo, e finally happen! Electricity supply don restore for Taraba State, especially Jalingo and surrounding areas. Na after TCN, dem Transmission Company of Nigeria, complete upgrade for dem YolaMayo Belwa–Jalingo line. People no go believe say, na so dem restore light just like dat!

Dem say full power don land for 7:00 PM on January 13, 2026. E don really take long, e start since January 9 for planned outage wey fit make the light stay for ground. Dem contractors been dey work hard so that we go fit enjoy better light.

Wetin dem dey do? Na line stringing, plus dem install new 150MVA transformers for Jalingo and Mayo Belwa Transmission Substations. Na correct upgrade wey go make power supply dey more better and reliable for all of us wey dey chop light for Taraba and surrounding states.

TCN still talk say dem also thank all of us wey show patience during the blackout period. E no easy, wey no get light, everything dey spoil, especially for business people wey dey hustle for small shops. Dem dey feel the heat pass anybody!

As the power don land, na also good news for Yola Electricity Distribution Company. Dem go benefit well-well from this upgrade, wey fit make electricity dey reach more people and lighten our lives. No more petrol generator wahala; we don dey resume normal life!

But make we no forget wetin don happen when light waka comot. Small traders dey panic because their business dey depend on light. One fish seller wey dey Jalingo talk say she don arrange for plenty fish, but na the light matter spoil her plan. E sure say she no fit sell anything if power no dey, and e go make plenty people dey hungry for the area.

As we dey celebrate say light don return, we gree say we go continue to dey follow TCN and YEDC for all the progress wey dem dey make. We dey hope say dem go work to ensure say dis kind wahala no go happen again in the future. Na so we go fit live better life for our state!
