According to Makinde, the brave officers wey fall for this incident dey carry out them normal work when dem meet this wickedness. Na Wednesday morning dem catch them unawares, and the governor talk say na cross-border bandits wey carry out the operation.
Dem say preliminary investigation don confirm say this matter no be small thing, as the security agencies don team up to fix am. Makinde don call on people wey dey live for Oriire Local Government Area and surrounding community make dem help with information wey go fit aid the investigation.
In him statement, he no hide him feelings as e talk say, “We need una help, make una no keep quiet. If una sabi any matter wey fit help o, abeg drop am for security agencies, them just dey work hard to tackle this wahala.”
As the matter dey unfold, the governor also assure residents say normal life don return after the incident and them don add more security personnel to dey keep the people safe. He dey waka go around dey reassure everybody say, “We go protect una well well, we no go rest until we curtail this criminal activities for our state.”
Makinde remind dem say, “Make una stay calm; our security agents don dey on ground, and them go ensure say anything like this no go repeat again.”
Na dis kind matter dey show say, security no be small play for border areas as bandits dey enter from everywhere, and na dem go be the ones wey create panic in the communities. But as e be now, di governor dey assure everybody say dem go take proper action to restore sense of safety back to the people.
