The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) don talk say nothing go stop dem o! E be like say the government no dey act correct since the MoU wey dem sign last year November.
Dr. Mohammad Suleiman, wey be the NARD President, don come out for Channels TV talk say dem no go take any court order wey wan stop dem serious. Im talk say the National Executive Council (NEC) na im dey in charge to decide wetin dem go do. If dem no fit resolve this wahala, dem go still waka go strike.
He even talk say the government don dey serve document wey carry ‘no work, no pay’ matter. Na wetin dem dey call them government? E no good for negotiation at all!
Meanwhile, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital branch don already align with NARD gree say dem go begin their own Total Indefinite and Comprehensive Strike 2.0, wey dem dey call ‘No Implementation, No Going Back’. Dr. Akerele Alaba wey be the LASUTH-ARD President don put mouth for matter say government don fail to do wetin dem promise dem.
Lekki, e be like say the wahala wey dey liquor few doctors go affect every other hospitals because of the serious matter wey dey on ground. Dem don even call for national meet up on January 2 to discuss wetin dey play.
Doctors dey suffer for this naija o! Di pressure no be small, dem dey work under extreme conditions. Dem dey owe many doctors salary for months. E no easy at all!
Na so the matter be as e dey unfold, we dey hope say between now and Sunday, something for fit change. If nothing change, hospitals go jam serious palava o, e be like say doctors no go fit do work and na first citizens wey go suffer am!
