Jigawa People Dey Try Settle Farmers-Herders Wahala

Wetin Dey happen for Jigawa State? My people, di wahala between farmers and herders don reach another level o! After plenty clashes wey don cause many people to lose dem life and farm produce, stakeholders don gather to find solution.

Dis gathering happen as so many places like Kirikasamma, Maigatari, and Birnin Kudu don face serious problem. Di recent clash for Yelwan Musari village no gree be am at all, as two farmers waka enter di grave, and many pipo, even police officer, collect injury.

As dem no wan make di thing continue be like this, di All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) for Jigawa State organize one seminar wey bring farmers, herders, and other important people come together. Di seminar happen for Sir Ahmadu Bello Hall for Dutse, and na wetin we sabi say di chairman of AFAN, Engr. Auwalu Garba talk as him dey address di audience.

Di man talk say di seminar nah chance for everybody to come together, discuss wetin dey happen and find way wey go fit bring peace to di 27 local government areas wey dey for di state. Him talk say, “We need to understand one another, identify di challenge wey dey make di wahala and agree on wetin go fit work.”

Di success of dis initiative no go happen by mouth alone, as so many important people dem dey inside: farmers, herders, security agencies, and even traditional leaders. Professor Ado Jangargari join dem too, and him talk say dem need to dey educate di farmers and herders on grazing reserves and cattle routes. Na him also advise say government suppose show better law enforcement and modern ways wey fit help with animal rearing.

Di challenges wey come out during di seminar no be small matter. Encroachment wey dey happen for grazing reserves, poor law enforcement, and inadequate education be major issues wey dem identify. Na why Professor Jangargari talk say traditional and religious leaders suppose take peace resolution strategies as dem dey move for ground level.

But e no end there o! As di stakeholders dey yarn, dem also dey call for security operatives to make sure say dem dey enforce di law well, so dat anybody wey cause problem go face di music. Alhaji Bello Fulani from Miyetti Allah talk say, “We dey pray say dis initiative go fit stop di senseless killing wey dey occur for our state.”

Ibrahim Adamu from Birnin Kudu Farmers Association too yan say, “We dey ready to waka together to achieve peace and stability for our state.” All dis discussions dey happen for di seminar wey gather big big groups and security folks, just to ensure say dis matter no go continue like dis.

Make we dey pray say Jigawa State go see peace and prosperity, as dem dey try settle dis wahala. Na who no wan make di matter better for everybody? Let’s dey hope for better tomorrow.
