You no go believe wetin happen for Kano recently! The Kano Police Command don recover three stolen motor vehicles and catch five suspects wey dey involved for armed robbery and motor vehicle theft. This one na big win for police as dem dey work hard to keep the state safe.
CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, wey be the Police Public Relations Officer, talk say dem intercept one stolen Toyota Corolla for 3rd January 2026 for Hotoro NNPC roundabout. Dem catch one suspect, Mohammad Ismail, wey dey 25 years, from Wuntin Dada Quarters for Bauchi State. E be like say dem no wan let any thief waka free for this year again!
As investigation dey go on, dem catch four more suspects — Abdullahi Ishaq (23), Abdullahi Bashir (24), Nasir Muhammad (23), and Nuru Muhammad (25). Dem all confess say dem steal the Toyota Corolla from Bauchi, and dem also recover another stolen Honda Pilot Jeep wey belong to Bauchi State Government. This Honda Jeep don waka go Plateau State before dem catch am.
But that no be all. For another matter on 6th January 2026, police recover another motor vehicle, a maroon Toyota Sienna wey dey suspected to be stolen. Dem see am for isolated area for Hotoro North, Kano. If you be the owner of this car, better carry your proof of ownership come PPRO Office for Kano State Police Command or call 09065885622 make you collect your wahala free.
The Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, don praise him officers well well for this their hard work, and e dey thank the people of Kano State for their support. E also stress say everybody suppose dey vigilant and report anything wey no clear to the police. Make we dey join hand together to keep our obodo safe!
