Wetin dey happen for Kano State? E be like say political wahala don start as Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf dey plan to jump from NNPP waka enter APC.
This big move, wey dey generate plenty gist, go change the political game for Kano. For 31st December 2025, APC chairman for Kano, Abdullahi Abbas, confirm as dem don invite the governor to join dem party big time.
Inside this political drama, we don hear say many people dey talk say Abba go announce him switch during state executive council meeting wey dey happen on January 7, 2026. But e no go bring him deputy along, and e no get Kwankwaso blessing. As e be now, some kwik-kwik don dey split inside Kwankwasiyya movement, wey na crowd wey suppose don dey united.
Kwankwaso wey be national leader of NNPP no dey smile at all; e don give warning to anybody wey dey plan to follow Governor Yusuf dey switch to APC. E talk say na muscle and betrayal dey carry people go, as dem think say dem fit chop from two plates. The tension for NNPP high as party members dey argue and dey remove each other like say na street fight. Na so dem go expel Hashim Dungurawa, the Kano chair, wey dey always show support for Kwankwaso.
As if na joke, more political tension don rise, and some people dey talk say dem go prefer to follow Abba because e dey hold power now as governor. Others dey scream say “Abba, abeg, come back to us, join Kwankwaso” as dem wan see peace reign.
Howl of different opinions don dey rise among supporters too, as dem dey challenge loyalty between the governor and the Kwankwasiyya founding father. Weda na loyalty or ambition wey dey drive the gist, many people dey expect say dem go see some serious fallouts as if na football match wey everybody dey tackle each other like say dem wan collect ball.
As January 12 don dey approach, all eyes don set for what go happen when Abba finally make him move. Go wan see if na power consolidation wey dey work for APC, or na fresh drama wey go scatter the ground for both the party and the governor. Kano State politics dey shake well, and this matter no go settle anytime soon.
