The crash happen for Ringim–Yakasawa road wey make everybody for the area dey panic like say na national emergency. The police, CSP Shiisu Lawal, confirm say seven dead bodies dey ground as fourteen people wey no gree follow dem go don dey hospital, dey try treat injury wey dem carry come.

As usual with Naija road wahala, CSP Lawal talk say speed no dey allow person shine and reckless driving fit be part of the trouble wey lead to this terrible incident. E don clear as investigation don start, and dem dey remind drivers make dem take road matter serious, before e turn to another obongue tragedy again!

One eyewitness wey dey live for Yakasawa come yarn say, “Na so we hear correct loud bang! We rush outside come see people wey dey trapped for motor. Some villagers before police arrive, do their best to help!” Person wey carry dem go hospital don talk say some of the injured dey recover well, but some still dey under close eye. Dem don carry the bodies wey perish go morgue while police wahala don clear before road fit dey move again.

But that one no be all, as Gombe State government try show small love to family of the journalists wey die for road accident wey happen during wedding party for Kaltungo. Dem don release N14 million to help those families, with each one collecting N2 million, make dem no loss touch completely after that sad event.

Governor Inuwa Yahaya send Prof Abubakar Njodi to present gists say this support na just small show of love for the people wey take big blow; he talk say these journalists na people wey dey always dey help the public with news and governance.

The National President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Alhassan Yahya, come dey shine light on how this matter dey painful especially with journalists wey dey really give their best but still dey face danger for road.
