Nigeria Power Grid Don Collapse Again, Na So We Dey Live!

My people, na wah o! Nigeria national power grid don collapse again, and this one no be small wahala. E happen on Monday afternoon, as cities dey waka inside darkness like say na night be that!

As per the data wey come out from Nigerian Independent System Operator (NISO), dem report say electricity generation drop from 2,660.77 megawatts wey shey dey flow around 2:00 p.m. to only 139.92 megawatts by 3:00 p.m. You fit imagine say na total system failure wey dey cause everywhere dey gree!

Na this wahala land just one day after federal government talk say dem don fix the vandalised Lagos-Escravos gas pipeline wey be serious supply route for thermal power plants for the country. The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) and Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) confirm say na loss of power from the entire national grid cause the blackout.

As we dey yarn dis gist, we never see any official response from NISO yet. But dem don dey assure us say dem dey try put everything back on track. Dem say dem go soon stabilize electricity supply nationwide, make everywhere fit shine again like Naija sun.

NISO don talk say dem don’t repair the vandalised gas infrastructure and e don help power generation increase again. Dem dey manage the situation well, because dem know say if dem no take time, e fit turn to ‘opa-pas’ wey no go fit control.

Dem report say Delta Generation Complex dey try for island mode, wey go still provide 114 megawatts to some areas like Oghara and Benin. Na serious matter if you ask me! The management dey carry all their tools dey monitor the situation so that no wahala go burst out again.

NISO don also advise all electricity consumers make dem dey conserve energy, make we all fit join hand to stabilize the electricity wey dey flow. Chimo! E still be like say we go dey pray for steady light, abi wetin una think?

At the end of the day, we no say the situation dey serious, but we go keep our fingers crossed and hope say dem fit solve this matter well before next wey we go dey gree say the light don trend enter darkness again.
