T2 Mobile dey see serious wahala as subscribers dey run comot

The wahala wey T2 dey face no be small oh! As e be, dem don lose plenty subscribers wey dey jump ship since dem rebrand from 9mobile.

Between August and October 2025, almost 2,725 people don scatter from T2 join other networks. Na wah! As dem just lose like this, people dey wonder wetin dey happen for their service.

For August alone, 1,111 subscribers don break camp, September carry 724 comot, and for October, another 890 don waka go. If you check the movement, you go see say only 61 people don join T2 during that same time. That one mean say dem dey lose customers pass wetin dem dey gain, and e fit mean say the rebranding no really follow well.

One thing wey dey clear be say, plenty people dey japa from T2 pass any other network. For October, 890 customers no get time and just jump comot, while Airtel only lose 289, Globacom 193, and MTN 225. Na so T2 really dey hot cake for outgoing customers!

Sabi say dis trend don dey happen since January 2025 when dem lose 6,716 subscribers straight! E follow with 3,817 in February, and e no slow down till July when only 646 people comot. But even with that, dem still dey lead for how many customers dey japa from their network.

But wait oh! The incoming reports no better at all. For October 2025, only 26 people don join T2, compare to 937 wey gree join MTN, 357 to Airtel, and 277 to Globacom. You fit see say nobody dey rush to join T2 at all, na serious matter!

And na for dis kind background, T2 wey once be 9mobile try rebrand to survive market. Dem plan to revive demself and improve their service, when dem join force with MTN for nationwide roaming agreement. E suppose make sense, but why e no dey work?

Minister for Communications, Bosun Tijani, even talk say make dem move beyond just logo change. E gree say service improvement na wetin fit save dem from going down completely. If T2 no make am happen, wetin go come happen to all de Nigerian customers wey dey depend on their service?

Even MTN dey shine pass as dem gree lease frequency spectrum from T2 to improve their network. Dis move go help dem manage wahala wey dem don dey face from plenty T2 customers wey dey run to dem network. Na Nigeria telecom industry we dey talk about oh! Collaboration and better service na the way forward.
