According to Dangote, MRS go be the first station wey go sell petrol for N739 as dem don set am to begin from Tuesday. But im no stop there, oh! E talk say dem don gather marketers and dem dey encourage dem to maintain high prices wey no go fit help the common man.
“I sabi say marketers don meet with some officials wey dey try frustrate this price reduction. We go fight am! We no go allow anybody to play game with our people. For this holiday, we no want make fuel dey cost pass N740 for Naija,” he talk carry mouth full.
Dangote also yan say transportation from refinery no suppose cost pass N15 per litre. So wetin make filling stations go dey charge as high as N900? “Wetin dey happen?” Na him talk. E frustrate small businesses wey no fit cope with high fuel prices.
Omo, na wetin cause problem for local investors? Dangote dey blame the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) wey don issue 47 import licenses for 7.5 billion litres of petrol for first quarter of 2026. “E no make sense!” he expresses.
