Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, don launch N1.1 billion empowerment programme for seven vulnerable groups inside Maiduguri Metropolitan and Jere Local Government Areas of di State.

He stress say e go provide more job opportunities to young people so dem go fit earn a living.
“Today, we dey launch another empowerment programme for seven groups to boost business and economic opportunities inside our dear state, wey dey recover from years of Boko Haram conflict,” Zulum talk.
Di governor promise a larger empowerment programme for women, youths and other entrepreneurs by di end of di month.
“I consider every young person inside dis state as my son. Na why I dey committed to providing every opportunity to ensure say you prosper and become productive members of society,” e add.
Di beneficiaries include clubs and associations, persons with physical disabilities, including persons with hearing impairment, persons with visual impairment, persons affected by leprosy, and youth groups.
Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Economic Empowerment, Hon. Saina Buba, thank di governor for di many empowerment programmes he don provide for youths and other vulnerable groups.
