Im tok say im never promise say PDP no go field candidates for governorship, National Assembly and State House of Assembly elections. For one statement wey im Special Assistant on Media and Public Communication, Lere Olayinka, release, Wike tok say im no go be di person wey go help governors win election for dia states. Im tok say politics don turn local matter, so anybody wey get problem for im state suppose solve am, instead of using President re-election to cause trouble or look for public sympathy.
Wike explain say im never meet APC before im and oda G5 members support President Tinubu for 2023 election. Im tok say for 2027 too, im support stand only on di President. Im also answer Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State. According to Wike, politics no be say person go rise from fourth position come become governor; na about real public support and winning election from polling unit level.
Wike ask say for Imo State under Governor Hope Uzodimma, how APC take win two Senate seats for 2023, for election wey happen same day with presidential election, when APC get less than 15 percent of presidential votes? Im ask whether na Rainbow Coalition cause am or voters confuse.
Experts see Wike position as something wey dem don dey expect, because im be politician with two sides, and im fight with APC governors don show before. Professor Abubakar Kari, teacher for Department of Political Science, University of Abuja, tok say no far, no near, action go come wey Wike go get problem with APC members, because na man wey dey choose ‘ungulu da kan zabo’ for im politics. But Professor Kari tok say APC governors accuse Wike say im dey plan sabotage for dem by putting strong PDP candidates so dem go add for governorship and federal parliament elections. For Kwara, di governorship candidate get agreement with Wike, and for Gombe, Imo and oda states, Wike get candidates im put. So one side im dey work for Tinubu, anoda side im dey sabotage APC.

Dem call am Rainbow Coalition because e dey try join politicians from parties with different colours and ideas, without forcing dem to leave dia parties.
