Orbih reportedly die on Monday, August 31, 2026. Di FCT Minister react to di news through im Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka. For im reaction, Wike describe di deceased as “a friend indeed.” E say di late politician go dey sorely missed by friends, political associates, and di people wey im life don touch.

“I don lose a friend and a committed political ally. Dan Osi Orbih be everything anybody fit desire for friendship and political association,” Wike talk. “But we no fit question God. E dey give, and E dey take.”
