Sunday Adeyemo, wanda aka fi sani da Sunday Igboho, mai fafutukar Yoruba Nation, ya yi wa gwamnatin tarayya Nigeria shawara da cewa ba ta damar da Jakadan Birtaniya zuwa Nijeriya, Richard Montgomery, kan rubutun nasa na neman amincewa da Yoruba Nation.
Igboho ya gabatar da rubutun nasa na shafuka 25 ga ofishin Firayim Minista na Birtaniya, Keir Starmer, a 10 Downing Street, London, inda ya nemi amincewa da Yoruba Nation mai cin gashin kanta.
Daga cikin sanarwar da Igboho ya sanya a hannunsa kuma aka yi wa Punch akai, ya bayyana cewa gwamnatin Nijeriya ta kira Montgomery ba zai yi tasiri ba, inda ya kira hakan wani yunwa na nufin matsa wa jakadan.
Igboho ya ci gaba da cewa irin wadannan ayyuka ba zai hana yunwar neman Yoruba Nation ba. Ya bayyana cewa gwamnatin Birtaniya ta yi Nijeriya ta zamani, kuma suna da haqqin gabatar da rubutu kan neman Yoruba Nation mai cin gashin kanta.
“Tun nemi Birtaniya ta yi aiki a matsayin shaidai lokacin da zai taso a matakin duniya,” ya ce Igboho. Ya kuma nuna cewa lokacin amsa wa rubutun hukuma na kai shekaru biyu, kuma Firayim Minista Starmer har yanzu ba ya karanta rubutun ba.
Igboho ya tabbatar wa Yoruba cewa hanyoyin damar da gwamnatin Nijeriya ke yi ba zai yi tasiri ba. Ya ce, “Munaci gaba da hanyoyin sulhu, ba tashin hankali, na halal don tabbatar haihuwar Yoruba Nation. Al’ummar Yoruba su yi sulhu da kuma tsoron Allah, suna da tabbacin yakinmu na neman ‘yancinmu.”
Igboho ya kuma bayyana cewa kiran Montgomery zuwa Abuja ba zai hana yunwar neman Yoruba Nation ba, kuma zai ci gaba da neman goyon bayan duniya kan harkar.
